The seller only offers a prepayment bank transfer method. Is this type of transaction reliable?

In principle, we recommend using JDC LAB's escrow account for payment processing. However, if this service cannot be used, here are some things to keep in mind:

We place a strong emphasis on the reliability of jewelry merchants listed on JDC LAB. Our quality and safety team actively monitors and strives to address potential risks before they occur. Before a jewelry merchant can start selling on JDC LAB, we conduct a comprehensive check of their identity and integrity, including business certificates, past transaction records, identification documents, and referrals from other jewelry merchants. Therefore, if a professional jewelry merchant offers a bank transfer payment method in advance, it is indeed reliable. Of course, other methods of transaction can also be conducted privately in a secure location, with cash payment and delivery, for example. However, please note that JDC LAB does not assume any purchasing responsibility.

JDC LAB offers a payment method through escrow accounts, where your money is securely held when you transfer it into the escrow account. You have seven days to inspect the jewelry after receiving it. If there are no other objections after the inspection period ends, we will promptly transfer the payment to the seller's account to complete the entire transaction process. The JDC LAB team provides one-on-one customer service support to ensure a smooth and hassle-free buying experience.
